About Arth Photography
In 2023, leading up to my admission into Queen's University Belfast, I worked under the guidance of my senior, GS Mohan, at Studio MAF, and was introduced to B. R. S. Sreenag of Sreenag Pictures, one of the leading architectural photographers in Chennai. Working with both played an important role in shaping my understanding of photography, particularly in professional workflows, visual discipline, and post-production. I remain grateful to both for the knowledge and perspective they shared, much of which continues to inform my work.
After moving to Belfast, a part-time role at a restaurant gave me the opportunity that developed into nearly thirty projects across three branches, covering interiors, food photography, and short-form video content for digital platforms. The work gained wider visibility through features and use across platforms such as Visit Belfast, Bloom Magazine UK, and The Belfast Times, and was also showcased on multiple public billboards during the Christmas season and in connection with award-winning campaigns.
During these years, photography shifted from exploration to intent. Arth photography emerged from that transition. The name arth comes from the second half of my name, Siddha-arth, and translates to meaning. It reflects my ongoing pursuit of creating images that are thoughtful, purposeful, and rooted in an understanding of space and context.
